actually, it is just west of Fort Worth http://www.motorsportranch.com/  in 
a town called cresson.

according to the owner, it was the first of its kind, and he was heavily 
discouraged by almost everyone.  obviously, it was a very good idea; he has 
expanded tremendously and there are track clubs all over the country.

itbs a nice course; I've driven it at a club event.
