Water on the carbs would depend more on the atmospheric conditions
(temperature and dew point) than it would on the richness of the carbs
causing a little coolness. The carbs should be head temperature - more
or less - which has more to do with the cooling system, unless you are
running extremely lean.
That's my theory, anyway.
