[TR] Are TR3 body mounting pads essential?

Hi,
Are TR3 body mounting pads essential?

Initially, I put the original number of body mounting pads on during the
rebuild.  However, several of the door gaps are better if I bolt down the very
front (or very rear) of the body to chassis without the body mounting pads.  I
am not concerned about originality.
