Battery preferences

I need to replace the battery in my '64 TR4.  Normally, I would not give this
much thought, but dealing with the pecular nature of Lucas and other oddities.
I thought I asked the more "seasoned" owners whether they have a preference
when it comes to a battery.  By the way, should it make a difference, weather
though I live in California, but up in the mountains, temps are extreme from
zero or below in the winter to 100 in the summer.
