When I purchased the car, I drove it home. I was a little too brave.
The electric fuel pump installed by the PO failed... in Indianapolis...
a couple of hours from home.
I have since converted it back to the original style mechanical pump
and have installed clear fuel filters. I don't think that fuel delivery
is the problem. But since you brought it up, and it has been a problem
in the past, I will definitely add it to my list of things to check.
