I just installed a modern (kind of) cassette stereo in my car and bought one of those cassette/CD adapters (looks like a cassette with a wire running out of it). I plug that into the tape drive, then plug the wire lead into the headphone jack on my Nomad (Creative's non-vogue version of the iPod).
