OK folks, does anyone care to share with me the secret for removing the speedometer drive? Following Haynes, it just refers to a diagram but doesnt give instructions. I grinded down a cheap 5/8" wrench, but when it turns, the entire bushing turns and not just the screw adaptor. Any ideas? Thanks again. While I am at it, Haynes recommends "hermatite" as gasket material for the thin tranny gaskets, anyone know of the US equivlant? I think RTV would be too thick. |
