Royal Blue was very dark. Looked great when clean and polished - otherwise
awful.
Sapphire Blue (IMO) was slightly lighter and richer in colour - but only on
later cars
French Blue (from the early 70's) was attractive and very different. Not too
unlike the colour of Wedgwood china and Wedgwood Blue isn't anything like
its pottery namesake. Wouldn't think the 'French' Blue name would go down a
bundle in the US at the moment? :)
Valencia Blue had strong green overtones and seemed an almost unique colour
to all 250's and 5's built for Export and Domestic stock.
Wedgwood Blue was a pale, light blue - such as Speedwell or Iris on bugeye
Sprites and Powder Blue on some other Triumphs (?)
