In 'factory speak' it's called a *jiggle pin* because that's what it should
do - but often doesn't on both my Triumphs. Whenever you're under the car,
just make sure it's still jiggling or adjust it so it does jiggle. In the
process, you'll probably pick up a lot of crud on your hand (a rag is
better) and that's entirely normal too.
