I have an engine for sale that I will offer to anyone on the list first
before deciding what the next step will be to sell it. I bought this
motor/trans/wheels/rear end package from a guy I know that had a 73 TVR
(same drivetrain as a TR6 for those who don't know that already) who was
in the process of converting his car's drivetrain with a corvette
engine/trans/rear end wheels almost 8 years ago now. I have used the
trans for myself, sold the wheels and have decided to sell the engine.
This engine is a 72 TR6 engine with 6,900 (yes that's six thousand nine
hundred miles on it) and you can tell that when you take the valve cover
off, its just like new with no wear whatsoever. I am in the process of
cleaning it up and getting it ready for sale, but I just wanted to let
you guys know about it first, in case you need an engine, or know of
someone who might be looking for an engine for their TR6. I will ship
this also, and can give shipping quotes anytime. The engine is complete
from top to bottom minus the distributor which I kept since I needed one
a few years back. I am asking $1500.00 for it and will entertain any
offers also. I am located about 100 miles west of Chicago, IL if you
would like to pick it up instead of shipping it. Thanks a lot~
