Have to tighten a certain bearing such that it takes 20 inch pounds to turn
it. I have no way to measure this, so am looking for input as to what this
"feels" like.
Loose to the point of being almost sloppy?
Will continue to turn on its own for a bit if I give it a spin?
Fairly firm, won't continue to spin?
Snug, takes a bit of effort to rotate but not much?
Kind of tightish?
Apologies, no direct LBC content. Well, LBT from Coventry content at least.
(It's the pair of bearings that take the load of the differential pinion,
so lots of forces at play.)
TIA,
Jim
