Just to let you know, Ed, I'm having the same problem with low oil pressure when warm. It gets low enough (15psi)to start knocking at 3000 rpm. I was so concerned this past summer that I dropped the pan and changed the rod bearings. This eliminated the knock for a while, but didn't change the pressure readings. I have a spare engine with OD tranny that I've started to rebuild for a swap next year. That's my solution. Bob Stahlbush 60 TR3A TS81398L (soon to be repowered) |
