Dear All,

As you can probably tell from the sound of hammering in the background,
and the bits of plaster spattered all over this e-mail, we're having
some building work done. Specifically, we are extending the kitchen
out into the area where a couple of old sheds used to be. As part of
the deal, in return for my wife getting a kitchen you could play
11-a-side football in, I get a tiny little room (about 5' x 4') on the
corner of the house. It will contain my Triumph library, my power- and
hand-tools (both automotive and domestic/DIY), spare parts, and so on.
It will have a workbench, heat, light, and power. But what do I call
it? I can't really call anything this small a "workshop" or a "garage".

So, chaps, you've come up with some great ideas for car names in the
past: have you any suggestions for a descriptive title for this room? If
I can't come up with anything apposite, it's going to end up known as
"The Privy", (because the outside loo was there a hundred years ago).
This could prove embarrassing if I'm working in it when the 'phone
rings, and my seven-year-old duly informs the caller that "Daddy's in
the Privy"...
