Do you think that straight 50 wt is too heavy? I run straight 30 ND in the
overdrive unit for my MGB (same concept, different execution) and it shifts
fine.
How about a dead spot on the solenoid or perhaps a problem with the
linkage...it's pretty funky.

66 MGB (GHN3L78708)...rebuilt the engine and OD tranny last summer.
60 TR3A (TS 81398L)...this car will have OD also when I get around to
rebuilding the spare engine and tranny
