Two (hopefully) quick questions about gauge refinishing (got a bit of the ol'
shipwright's while re-veneering my TR6 dash). I've now got six gauges apart
with nicely repainted bezels waiting for the rubber O-rings to arrive from
Vicky Brit to reinstall them. I admit I took the lazy route and ordered
rather than creating my own rings from gasket material.
Anyway, first question:
Has anyone found a source for the glass for the larger (tach and speedo)
gauges? (hhmmm, wonder why he needs those!) and...
Is there a way to clean the actual black gauge faces without leaving marks or
discoloration?
