My 2 pence!!!

1. Everthing that is = or less than Moss, have plated. If this is an
excellent plater, the coatings will be thicker, more polished, and look
deeper............His prices aren't bad..........hey!.....pick a piece that's
cheaper than Moss, have him do it..........then see what it looks like. Hope
you have references!!!.........my plater.........will fix any thing, if it
ever goes bad.......even 10 years later!!! (Did the little bit of chorme
on my wife's Jag XKE ......$3000........my body man was very
impressed.........it has stood up for 7 years........and still looks great!

2. When Moss is less expensive, I would go that way.........looks like at
times you can buy 3 Moss products for 1 plating job. My experience has
been that they look pretty good from 2 feet away........but somehow just
don't have the depth of colour in the chrome. Unless you are going to show
it..........go less expensive............(but then sometimes.........it can
look TOO good and you will get marked down for 'buying' it!)

Barely bent my TR4A front bumper......(from Moss)......straightened it out,
chrome popped off and I'm down to the nickle plating.......still doesn't look
too bad.........so, I just ordered another, looks good, and I'll strap it
on.........(don't have to wait a month for the plater!!!) For another
$139........I'm back in business!!!

3. One more consideration.....if you have some original parts, expecially
bumpers, they may be of sturdier material and thicker.....then you might
consider having them plated........

Good Luck.....
