Whoa.  90 ft lbs would be about 300 lbs of pressure on the handle of the fairly
small/short allen wrench that I used.  That may be the spec but a much lower
torque was enough the column to keep my column from sliding in daily driving.

I probably used about as much torque as I would apply to the lid of a peanut
butter jar.
