I want to run a Ford 289 WITHOUT the torque converter installed just the
flexplate. Is there any problem doing this? Basically it wont have any
flywheel except for the plate. I am not sure if this is enough or if this
would cause problems I want to make sure everything is fine with the
engine The engine is mounted in the vehicle, but no tranny -
Anybody have any info as to why this shouldnt be done or wouldnt be a cood
idea?
Sorry for the non lbc content, but I thought I'd tap the collective wisdom
of the list-
