I'm quite familiar with the 80 Spitfire clutch arrangement but I have 
no idea what you're talking about!  "The pushrod was laying on the 
bottom of the bracket"?  Umm, did you check the framistan or the 
widget adjustment mechanism? :-)

I can think of nothing that would be called a pushrod that would be 
worth replacing!  Are you talking about something on the pedal end or 
the slave end?
