Hi Skip
The front oil seal is Fairly easy on most Triumphs, I have no detail knowledge
of the TR3A diff but on most it is a case of following the manual to the
letter, unless yours is one of the after market ones with those scary words
"This job requires special tools and should be entrusted to a dealer." If this
is the case get a real manual, none are better than the original factory
manual IMHO.
I feel sure that there are many TR3A owners on the list who are able to advise
you should you encounter any problems.
Graham.

Mine is leaking where the drive shaft enters the differential. How easy
(hard) is this to fix? Let's put it this way, my tool box is actually several
empty plastic cat litter containers. Should I leave this one to a
professional, or is it a fairly easy challenge that can't be screwed up to
badly? Thanks!
