Back in my poor college days when I had to settle for a MG midget instead of a Triumph, I used to set my tappets with the engine running. At low rpm's the oil did not kick-up, but I sure flattened a lot of feeler gauges in the process...<G> Bill Atlanta 74 TR6 So, Mark, when you use this method to adjust your rockers, how much of a mess does it make?
