I assume that you know that that is utter nonsense.

It is a pretty good engine, actually.  The Pinto was a pretty miserable car.
Since they rusted out so fast, this was great combination for kit cars.
Take a Pinto.  Throw away the body.  Build a ladder frame and start bolting
on the parts.  Shorten the driveshaft.  Lengthen the steering column.  Mount
the engine well back in the frame.  Paste on any fiberglass body you like
from a '29 Merc to an MGTD to a Jaguar SS.

One of the best such cars I ever drove was a Jag XK120 built by an outfit in
Buffalo, NY.  The details such as the gas cap were totally unconvincing, but
the car looked good overall, and drove beautifully.
