Hmmmm...I had same problem. Gas should not be coming out...I am stretching
to remember but I think the float valve is stuck open. The pressure from
the fuel pump is forcing the gas out the tube. I think you can drop the
bowl of the offender, take the valve out and blow out the valve, unless you
have a spare, check the float for sinking syndrome and correct level and put
back together....hopefully voila. I am sure someone else could verify this,
as I said its been a while and everything that could have gone wrong with
mine, has.

My TR-6 finally started. Took a while but finally starts.
Only one little problems. Since I don't have the air cleaner installed. I
noticed that gas comes gushing out of a hole in the carbs. Is there supposed
to me a cap in it? I can't imagine that the air cleaner will stop the gas
from flowing out.
Please help. My neighbors are going to start complaining.
