Anyone know what the stuff is that's wedged into the back corner of the
TR3A's boot, right below the taillight? Appears to be intended as a sealant
of some sort. It fills the sloppy joint between the boot floor and the rear
body panel. A very fibrous material, apparently impregnated with some sort
of tar-like substance...wouldn't want water to get into the boot, now would
we? :^)
I assume that, whatever it is, it's NLS. What do you folks recommend as a
replacement after I paint?
