Absolutely
I bought my 72 TR6 back in 1984 and it already had 106,000 miles on it.
After a little work it became my regular commute vehicle until my wife took
it away from me to use as her commuter car. It's been more reliable than
most of my coworkers "modern" cars. The biggest drawback is large SUVs on
rainy days don't see you and try to change lanes on top of you.
