Good point! It is entirely possible to "improve" the brakes to the point of 
creating a death trap. Some of us "older" folks remember some of the early 
versions of power brakes. In some cases, they were so sensitive that even 
your dear old grandma could hit them hard enough to lock up the wheels, even 
at "granny" speeds.
