I'm told it does, I'm doing just the opposite with my 1970 TR6 - fitting a 67 
TR4A 'box with od.  I understand the internals are the same but the flange on 
TR4A case is a little thinner.  Someday I'll combine the two - 6 case and 
iunternals with 4A od and mainshaft.
