I don't know that you have this virus, but here's at least one that
_could_ be responsible :

Acccording to the description, it chooses a file at random to infect (so
it could've chosen CFGWIZ32.EXE), and sends the infected file out with a
random subject line. Pretty nasty virus, it's tough to remove (you may
have to reload some files from the original distribution, as they cannot
be repaired), and it also has a delayed payload that does lots of damage
(corrupts CMOS, corrupts your hard drive, etc.).
I think McAfee still offers their virus scanner as a free limited-time
demo. I suggest you download and run it.
