I wonder if this explains the apparent rash of TOB failures. It certainly
never occurred to me that they might have a limited shelf life.>
I believe they are referring to double sealed roller bearings not TOB's.
However, having said that, it is entirely possible that a pre-greased bearing
could age to the point that the grease dries out and must be replaced.
