I just finished my grill and I just painted it. I painted it with a few
coats and it looks great. I can get some pictures out to you sometime this
week.

The top and bottom of the grille and the black metal piece below it
are coated in a form of plastic. The plastic on the grille I just
removed has cracked and started peeling.

Short of buying another grille, does anyone know of a way to
restore the black plastic? Is there some kind of liquid dip that
hardens, kinda like the electric insulation that you dip wires into
that hardens to a gloss when it's dry?

Or just strip off all the plastic and paint black?

     Thanks,
     Rick Olson
