Yes, 58,000mm is 5800cm.  However, we are talking sq mm.

Think about sq inches and sq ft.  Are there 12 sq inches in 1 sq ft?  Or
are there 144 (12 times 12) sq inches in 1 sq ft?

so 58000 sq mm == 58000/(10 * 10) sq cm == 580 sq cm ==
24cmx24cm 

which is a little less than 10inx10in (still in the same ballpark)
