You know actually I've found standard insurance is a pretty good value
nowadays. My Alstate Agent had me bring in the TR-6 and he took pictures of
it inside and out. He also noted that if I could show a record of recent
transactions in the purchase/sale of similar models; that would serve to
determine insurance value. If I recall correctly others on this list have
had similar experience. A "good" TR-6 tends to go for 10K or more often
enough.

Subject: Insurance Question

Good Afternoon, All,
Just a quick question concerning insurance. How do you all insure your
cars? I assume that "regular" insurance is _not_ the way to go. I assume
this due to "blue book" value versus actual market value. Is there a
"collector/classic car" insurance?
Just trying to get all my marbles in one bag (yeah, right, that'll take a
few more questions and years!!)

Regards,
Dale Neidhammer Silicon Metrics Inc.
