So many things can cause this, but like many others, I think first of the thing
that
caused it the last time I had such a miss... for me it was a poor connection at
the
coil. The rivets that hold the spade connectors were loose and would make poor
contact intermittently, particularly under the vibration of acceleration. I
peened
the rivet a bit to tighten it and then added a drop of solder to each to assure
solid contact.
Of course this may not be your problem at all -- just thought I'd offer another
thing to try if you run out of ideas.
