Gary,
When I worked for the Britsih Army we used mostly Lucas brand fuses. The
electronic equipment I worked on primarily used the 35/17 amp Lucas
fuse. The 35 was the rating at which the fuse would blow and the 17 was
the continuous load rating. I don't recall using a 50 amp lucas fuse for
anything but would assume it to be a 50/25 amp rating for it.

A while back there was a thread giving the US amp fuse rating compared
to the
Lucas fuse rating. Something about the rating system has the Lucas
fuses
blow at the rated amp or less and the US fuses are good for the rated
amp or
more, or just the opposite, I don't quite remember.

he manual calls for a 50 amp and a 35 amp fuse for my 59 TR3A. What
would
the equivilant US fuse rating need to be?

Thanks,

Gary Bouffard
