TR3 Starter and TR6 flywheel ok ?

A fellow TR3 buff and I are told that we can use a TR4/6 "Finger" style
clutch rather than the TR3 "Pressure" clutch.

We have the Flywheel that has the bolted on ring gear, 90 teeth if memory
serves. Can we use the "Finger" style clutch from a TR4A or TR6 with this
flywheel ?

Do we need the TR6 flywheel or what ?

Is there a problem with the teeth on the TR4/6 flywheel and the TR3 Starter
?
