The round dash vents and those under the dash should have a round knob in
the middle. Look closely and you will see geared flaps inside that should
close when you turn the knobs. You can get some warm air through these if
you push the two position switch all the way in but they are really designed
for fresh, unheated air as stated in an earlier response. For best
heating/defrosting, all four "eyeball" vents should be closed. Then, using
the pull knob will direct heated air to the windshield or to your feet..
