Sherman , et al
The battery tray on TS 10795 ( '56 TR 3 ) was already restored / rebuild by
the DPO when I got it . Unfortunately he " forgot " to fit any battery hold
down brackets on the sides .
It seems easy enough to make these brackets from metal and weld them to the
sides . ( Unfortunately prices for the correct items from the normal parts
suppliers are beyond my reach at this stage ) .
So , will any kind soul please forward some dimensions to me . I now know
that they must be 13 inches apart , but how far from the top etc. Naturally
a paper template of the brackets would make things much easier :-)
Kind regards

If you do rebuild, make sure the battery hold downs are 13" apart, or get
the Battery tray and fit the brackets on the sides. Even though I welded
mine back in the 'same position they were'- they ended up 3/8" too close.
