Hi Bill,
I glued the rubbers in place, then cut enough material to cover the assembly.
Lay it down on the vinyl and pencil an outline in the backside of the vinyl.
Roll it over and do the same on the other side.....leave 1/2" clearance all
around.
Apply contact cement to the surfaces and begin by attaching that side to the
frame....remember to cut relief slots and notches in the vinyl as you're
applying. Work the vinyl over to the other side ane repeat. Trim the ends so
the vinyl can be tucked into the cup where the button finisher. Trial fit the
ends then apply glue and attach.
This worked for me.
