Question: Is there a way to trouble-shoot an alternator to determine if
it is bad or if it's something else?
I have a 1971 TR6. I just overhauled the engine and when I re-installed
the alternator it does not charge. There is a remote chance that I
hooked up something wrong, but it appears that with the two plastic
plugs there is only one way to hook it up. Everything else works fine.
This alternator is a rebuilt that I installed four months ago.
