Subject: | OILY EGR HOSES |

While adjusting the valves on my 1975 TR6, I noticed that the EGR hose connections from the valve cover were fairly oily. This was at all of the connections down the line to the carbs. Is this a normal condition? Since there's only a metal plate covering the outlet from the valve cover, there must be some oil that get's sucked in, but should it be enough to be visible? It seems that this condition would foul the carbs, but I don't seem to be having any tuning problems. Thanks, Emmett Trussell |
