I was chasing down an apparent exhaust leak today and have isolated it to
the exhaust manifold. It's coming out somewhere-I-Can't-See, and making
a nasty black mark on the intake.
I also can see a crack forming on the rear 'circuit', too.
So it looks like I'll be in the market for a new exhaust manifold :-( :-(
Anyone got one for "a reasonable price"? What's the going rate?
Anyone got a header they're tired of? Given that the whole excercise here
was to make the car *quieter* I probably' shouldn't even think of a
header, but hey- it would sure show up those silly Honda Civics...
I wanted to belay this repair until the time when I'd be fixing the
carbs... just seems that I should really be gathering parts now instead of
just ignoring it (and driving around, noisily...)
