Your experience with U-Haul is pretty typical from what I have heard
lately. There was thread on the rally list a while back on this subject.
The situation is common enough that there is now a "U-Hell" website. How
far you wish to carry this is up to you, but from some of the reports I
read, you are unlikely to get much satisfaction from legal action.
