Both of these jobs are relatively strait forward and well within the range
of the average do it yourselfer. You might also consider replacing the
rear axle u-joints and differential pinion seal (if it is leaking) while
you have everything else apart. I've done all of what you describe on my
'74 TR6 with know problems
