"Andy M, Andy M" ... sounds like something out of "The Wizard of Oz,"
doesn't it? :-)

Sad to say that the only relatively solid Spitfire tub I have lurking in
the weeds or elsewhere about was, er, modified years ago in the RR by a
mid-size Pontiac -- so hard a hit that the chassis frame (pre-rear
extensions, BTW) was sprung beyond repair. But the doors still opened.
(Triumph had crumple zones before crumple zones were cool!)
