A clothes pin! I think I need 2 to keep it at max choke for a couple of
minutes.
It seems to be OK when only open less than 1/2". It is just at more than
that it seems
to want to snap back in spontaneously.

Is it my imagination, but doesn't the choke lock in position with a quarter
turn to the right?

I KNOW that my Austin choke locked (poorly), and it was a '70, only 4 years
younger than the TRs.
