A few weeks ago I inquired about fixes to my 74 TR 6s starting problems after it had been running a while. Just a while ago I was in a NAPA auto parts store and asked if they had electronic ignitions and explained my problem. The guy who helped me suggested that I put some kind of heat shield between my starter and engine because the heat may be affecting the solinoid. What do you all think?? Does this sound like a valid cause and cure?? John Summers 74 TR 6 |
