Buy both, I did.  The electric grinder works great on large areas or high
spots, especially if your welding technique is anything like mine.  The air
grinder is great for small or hard to reach areas.  While you're at it, get
the air cut off tool. You'll never use a hacksaw or tin snip again.

Oh, I almost forgot, bandages, lots of bandages.
