You might try to contact a member of Six Pack.  They could get you the
information to order a copy of "Six Tech", a maintenance manual for the TR6
owner.  There is a very informative section on bearing replacement and thrust
washer renewal in it.  I think the authors name is Len Renkenberger. (did I 
spell
that right?)  Maybe another lister could provide you with more info.
