I JUST DID A DUMB THING AND SHORTED OUT MY NEWLY REBUILT AMP GAUGE FOR MY
PROJECT TR4. WHILE I TRY TO FIND THE REPLACEMENT PART (DO YOU KNOW WHERE) CAN
I JUMP THE BROWN/WHITE AND BROWN WIRE THAT GO TO THE GAUGE SO I CAN CONTINUE
TO WORK ON THE ENGINE? OR AM I ASKING FOR MORE TROUBLE WITHOUT THE GAUGE IN
PLACE.

Dennis,

Sorry to hear about that. That can ruin your whole day!

Anyway, no problem at all connecting the wires together. Just make sure they
are well insulated, and fastened so they can't make contact with anything
else.
