If you use a carb return spring (like I did!) and don't know that there's
a hole for a spring (like I did!) then it's easy to hook a spring between
the clutch slave fork & something solid (like I did!)

However, I needed the spring, because to my knowledge I have an early TR4
clutch.  It might be a 4A clutch, never bothered to look...
